Physical Education

At this stage our aim is to stimulate the child’s motor skills and begin the process of development of their body, as the foundations for a balanced growth.

Physical Education at this age contributes to their socialization and development of the physical abilities through playing. From Nursery to Preparatory they have their lessons in the school building but in Transition they start having lessons at Malvin Club on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. where apart from their P.E lessons they have swimming.

They attend their P.E and swimming lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm at Malvin Club.
As extra –curricular activities girls can play Hockey and boys Football. The school participates in non-competitive Football leagues against other schools in the country.

In this level P.E has the aim of helping the students to deal with curricular activities as well as with sports and recreational ones. At this stage P.E helps the students to get to know their body, its possibilities and limitations and understand what has to be done to keep fit.

Students in Secondary School have the chance of doing athletics and playing volleyball, handball, hockey and football so as to be able in future to choose the sport they prefer or find better ways to improve their body building.

Activities are done on Tuesdays at Bohemios Club and on Fridays at the School Sports Field. If the weather does not allow outdoor activities the students are taken to some indoor pitches rented by the school. Boys take part in competitions and some football meetings and girls practice Hockey and Volleyball.
